  Healthwatch Camden and NHS Reforms Impact

  

  Report of the Chief Executive of Healthwatch Camden.

   

  The recent NHS reform announcements are set to impact the health and social care landscape significantly. Part of the impending changes will result in the abolition of many patient safety bodies, including Healthwatch organisations, both locally and nationally. Healthwatch Camden (HWC) seeks to address these changes, what they mean for local residents, HWC, other local organisations and what the future of local health and care may look like as a consequence of the reforms.

  Camden All-Age Autism Strategy 2025-2030

  

  Report of the Director of Adult Social Care Strategy and Commissioning.

   

  This report provides an overview and update of Camden’s all-age Autism Strategy 2025-2030.

   

  Camden’s new all-age Autism Strategy 2025-2030 was approved by Camden’s Cabinet in September 2025.  Co-production with autistic residents, parents and carers of autistic residents have informed the content and the themes of the strategy. Based on feedback from residents, the strategy is focused on a culture change – looking to make Camden a place where autistic residents are understood, respected and supported.

  Camden's Approach to Hoarding and Self-neglect

  

  Report of the Director of ASC Operations.

   

  This report describes Camden’s approach to hoarding and self-neglect - reflecting its wider Adult Social Care vision to support people to live safely, with dignity and independence, in the place they call home.

   

  Camden’s Adult Social Care services are leading a joined-up, multi-agency response which is strengths-based, relational and trauma-informed.

   

  Since January 2026, a new multidisciplinary model is providing consistent, person-centred and therapeutic support, with strong resident involvement and strategic oversight to improve outcomes and prevent crisis.

  This report focusses on the performance in Quarter 2 (Q2) 2025-26 for each division across the Adults and Health Directorate. In this report, directors have been asked to provide a narrative covering key areas of challenge, opportunity, and learning.
