Camden Safeguarding Partnerships: Annual Reports 2024-25

Report of the Executive Director Adults & Health and the Executive Director Children & Learning.

Safeguarding is a statutory duty under the Children Act 1989 and Care Act 2014, and is delivered in Camden through multi-agency partnerships, namely the Camden Safeguarding Children Partnership (CSCP) and Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board (SAPB). These partnerships publish annual reports reviewing governance, performance, serious case learning, and setting improvement priorities.

    This report aims to:

    •         Share the 2024/25 annual reports of Camden’s two safeguarding partnerships.

    •         Provide an overview of priorities for 2025/26 and help identify shared strategic priorities between the partnerships and the Health and Wellbeing Board.

    •         Enable the Board to consider learning opportunities across the partnerships.

    Homelessness System Partnership

Report of the Director of Health and Wellbeing.

The Homelessness System Partnership aims to implement a more integrated and relational approach to addressing homelessness in Camden. It builds on the response to the Covid-19 pandemic and acknowledges that no one team or organisation alone can meet the needs of those experiencing homelessness and so a ‘whole system’ approach to homelessness is required.

This report gives an overview of the homeless population in Camden and the factors of multiple disadvantage they face. It outlines what residents have told us matters to them about the services they receive. It summarises the approach the Partnership has taken, including the centring of co-production. Finally, the report outlines the progress made against the Partnership priorities, other achievements and next steps.
