  Membership of Camden SACRE

  

  To note the membership of Camden SACRE.

  School collective worship determinations

  

  There are three schools seeking a determination: A) Rhyl, B) Torriano & Brecknock and C) Regent High.

   

  For each school, the following papers are provided:

  1.     Their determination application

  2.     Their Collective worship policy

  3.     How they plan their assemblies for the year

  4.     Collective worship observation
   

  The SACRE RE Professional Advisor has attended schools to watch an act of collective worship and her reports on these are also attached with each school’s application.

   

  SACRE is asked to consider each school’s application and asked to agree their determination renewals.

  Faith Forum update

  

  A Camden Faith Forum representative will provide a verbal update on their work since the last meeting.

   

  •         Interfaith events and support

   

  Feedback would be welcomed from members on how Camden SACRE can support the Faith Forum’s work.

  Update on National Association of SACRE (NASACRE) Conference 2026 in Liverpool

  

  A verbal update will be given by Sarah Richardson (SACRE Chair) and Claire Clinton (SACRE RE Professional Advisor) on Conference, as well as members who have attended any of the NASACRE conference workshops.

  Camden SACRE priorities 2025-26

  

  This paper outlines Camden SACRE’s priorities for 2025-26 (Appendix 1). Members are invited to provide feedback on how they can support the actions set out, and the document will remain a live record that can be added to during SACRE meetings.

  Camden RE Newsletter & Networks

  

  SACRE members asked for the RE Professional Advisor to share the content of the termly newsletter and meetings with RE leads in Camden. The details of the Summer term newsletter and the last two meetings with Camden Schools from the Spring term 2026 are appended.

  2026 Interfaith Primary Camden Conferences evaluation results

  

  This paper sets out the 2026 Interfaith Primary Camden Conferences evaluation results.

   

  Feedback is welcomed from members on reflections on the conferences that were ran and how they could be built on in 2027.

  National updates

  

  This RE Professional Advisor will provide verbal updates on opportunities for Camden SACRE members to engage with national information around RE and Collective Worship.

   

  •         Update on Curriculum & Assessment Review (CaAR)

  •         Department for Education (DfE) and Collective worship review

   

  Feedback would be welcomed from members on how Camden SACRE can continue to develop in its individual and corporate knowledge of national issues and developments.
